Registration

In order to use this website, apparel & accessory designers and retailers must first complete the registration form. During registration a User is required to give personally identifiable information (such as name, address, email). We use and store this information to contact the User during the course of business. It is also required for the User to provide unique identifiers (such as Username and Password) in order to facilitate the security concerns of their profile.

Information Use

Madison Buyer is a an online platform for apparel and accessory designers to create profiles. Retailers and/or the public may use the platform to search for specific criteria and view the work of designers that fit their search. All designers who create profiles on the Madison Buyer website acknowledge that their platform image, and all information posted to their CONTACT page will be viewable to the public. Designers who set their profile to "PRIVATE" acknowledge that all additional information (lookbooks, calendars, linesheets, etc...) is viewable to ALL registered RETAILERS. Designers who set their profile to "PUBLIC" acknowledge that any information uploaded and posted to their profile is viewable to any visitor to the website. RETAILER information is not displayed. Madison Buyer accepts no responsibility for the conduct of its Users.
It is the responsibility of the User to maintain the secrecy of the Username and password. Any fraudulent use of login information will lead to legal action or at the very least cancellation of access. The website may also track User statistics like date of registration, date of last visit, the number of times visited, etc. This information is used for aggregate analysis and to make business decisions.

Profile

We store information that we collect through the registration page, cookies, etc to create User profiles. A profile is stored information that we keep on individual Users. Consequently, collected information is tied to the Users personally identifiable information (name, phone, email, mailing address), to provide offers and improve the content of the site. This profile is used to direct marketing promotions they have expressed interest in. We do not sell, rent or trade your personally identifiable information.
